فعالیت ضد درد و ضد التهابی عصاره دانه(کاهو) Lactuca sativa در موش صحرایی

چکیده:
کاهو(Lactuca sativa) از خانواده Compositae است. در طب عامیانه ایران از دانه های این گیاه برای رفع التهاب و استئودینی استفاده می کردند. در این مطالعه، فعالیت های ضد درد و ضد التهابی عصاره متانولی/پترولیوم اتر خام (30/70، V/V) دانه ها مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفته است. عصاره یک اثر ضد درد وابسته به زمان و دوز در تست فرمالین و همچنین فعالیت ضد التهابی وابسته به دوز در یک مدل التهابی کاراگینان نشان داد. عصاره در تست tail-flick تا بالاترین دوز مصرفی (6 گرم بر کیلوگرم) اثر ضد درد ندارد. هیچ رفتار غیرعادی و کشندگی در عصاره تا 6 گرم بر کیلوگرم مشاهده نشد. تجزیه و تحلیل فیتوشیمیایی اولیه وجود تری ترپنوئیدها، ساپونین ها و فنل های ساده در عصاره دانه کاهو را نشان داد.
Abstract:
Lactuca sativa (Lettuce) is a member of Compositae family. In folk medicine of Iran, the seeds of this plant were used for relieving of inflammation and osteodynia. In this study, anti-nociceptive and anti-inflammatory activities of a crude methanol/petroleum ether (70/30, v/v) extract of the seeds have been evaluated. The extract exhibited a time- and dose dependent analgesic effect in formalin test and also adose-dependent anti-inflammatory activity in a carrageenan model of inflammation. The extract had no analgesic effect in tail-flick test up to the highest dose used (6 g/kg). No abnormal behavior and lethality was observed by the extract up to 6 g/kg. Preliminary phytochemical analysis showed the presence oftriterpenoids, saponins and simple phenols in the extract.
